There was an extra-special edition of the “Boomer and Carton in the Morning” show Monday on WFAN 660 AM / 101.9 FM.
With co-host Boomer Esiason on vacation, co-host Craig Carton was joined in the Allstate Studio by none other than New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie.
According to the WFAN website, Christie is a frequent caller to the “Boomer & Carton” program.
This wasn’t the governor’s first time hosting alongside Carton. Known on the show as caller “Chris from Mendham,” Christie previously hosted the show on Friday, May 6, 2011.
The two put on a terrific show that day, and they managed to top their first performance Monday. The governor was a natural behind the microphone (like that came as a surprise), and his rapport with Carton made for some very entertaining radio.
