| Bieber, Braun |
Justin Bieber and his former manager Scooter Braun have reached a significant financial settlement, resolving disputes that lingered after their professional split in 2023.
The pop superstar, now 31 and a father to 10-month-old son Jack Blues with wife Hailey Bieber, has agreed to pay Braun a total of $31.5 million to settle outstanding debts tied to their past business dealings.
The settlement includes a $26 million payment to cover an advance Braun and his company, HYBE, had provided for Bieber’s canceled 2022 Justice world tour.
E! News reports sources indicate that Braun’s team fronted the funds, which Bieber and his associates were obligated to repay to touring company AEG Presents after the tour’s cancellation.
Additionally, Bieber will pay $5.5 million to cover unpaid commissions owed to Braun, bringing the total payout to $31.5 million.
The settlement comes shortly after Braun, who discovered Bieber on YouTube in 2007 when the singer was just 12, spoke candidly about their evolving relationship. During a June 2025 episode of the Diary of a CEO podcast, Braun acknowledged that their once-tight bond has changed.
The $31.5 million settlement closes a chapter in one of music’s most storied partnerships, which propelled Bieber from a teenage YouTube sensation to a global pop icon.
