San Diego Radio: Joe Haze Adds KMYI To Programming Plate

iHeartMedia San Diego announced today that Joe Haze has been named Program Director for KMYI Star94.1, San Diego’s Best Music Variety, effective immediately.

Haze will work closely with on-air personalities and sales to oversee the station brand’s on-air and digital news programming, as well as local events and partnerships.

“Haze has been instrumental in the success of Channel 93.3 since its inception,” said Rob Scorpio, Senior Vice President of Programming for iHeartMedia’s San Diego/Riverside Region. “His passion for CHR and Hot AC formats along with his knowledge and experience makes him the ideal choice to continue STAR 94.1’s dominance in the San Diego market.”

Haze currently serves as Program Director for Channel 93.3 and afternoon drive host for STAR 94.1. In his newly expanded role, Haze will serve as program director for both Channel 93.3 and STAR 94.1, while continuing to serve as afternoon drive host on STAR 94.1. Haze previously worked as night host at Channel 93.3. Before moving to San Diego, he worked at WAPE-FM and WJBT-FM in Jacksonville, FL, and KZZP-FM in Phoenix, AZ.
