FNC's Gutfeld Mocks The View On Politics

Greg Gutfeld
Fox News’ Greg Gutfeld mocked recent political opinions from “The View” co-host Rosie Perez Tuesday, remarking that going to the program for politics is akin to “going to Jiffy Lube for sushi," according to The Daily Caller.

The newly-minted host of “The Greg Gutfeld Show” made the comments to FNC host Bill O’Reilly as the two, along with “Imus in the Morning” producer Bernard McGuirk, roasted Perez for her two cents. Gutfeld’s remarks came after Perez made attempted to list former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s accomplishments during her State Department tenure.

In her defense of Clinton, Perez said (as she read aloud from an index card) that the Democratic frontrunner “prevailed” in sending “an additional 21 troops to Afghanistan,” adding that she was “instrumental with women across the world of ending violence against women worldwide.” Perez also told her fellow co-hosts that Clinton’s list of accomplishments “goes on and on and on.”

“I don’t blame ‘The View.’ Going there for political commentary is like going to Jiffy Lube for sushi,” Gutfeld said to laughter.

“They do reflect a sensibility around America, which they like Hillary Clinton because she’s a lady and that’s all you need. She looked like she just got her CliffsNotes off the internet, she was reading it. But the point is she — Hillary doesn’t have to do anything to win these votes. Her motto should be ‘I am woman, hear me snore,’ because she’s sleeping through this until it matters.”
