Mendte most recently was at Cumulus N/T WABC Sunday evening and previously was morning host on Merlin's ill-fated WWIQ 106.9 Philadelphia, then headed by Ranndy Michaels.
He's also been an anchor at CBS KYW TV3 and NBC's WCAU-TV10 un Philadelphia
While at KYW-TV, Mendte had legal woes after accessing co-anchor Alicia Lane's emails and an "improper relationship" with her.
