Fargo Radio: N/T WDAY Adds Local Shows

WDAY Radio has announced the debut of two new community-focused programs this week, reinforcing the station’s ongoing commitment to local voices and programming that highlights the vibrant people and businesses in the Fargo-Moorhead area.

Beginning this Thursday, Professional Launch with Ricot Aladin will air every Thursday from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. The show will build on the success of Aladin’s existing podcast and will offer valuable insights from business leaders, entrepreneurs, and nonprofit organizations. The show will also highlight the work of Professional Launch, a nonprofit aimed at connecting young professionals with experienced mentors to help grow their careers and networks.

Starting this Friday, Rocky’s Downtown Hour will air every Friday from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. hosted by Rocky Schneider, the Executive Director of the Downtown Community Partnership, the show will focus on all things Downtown Fargo. From tackling local issues facing the area to covering upcoming events, businesses, and community initiatives, Schneider is committed to shedding light on the people and places that make downtown Fargo a thriving hub.

These two new shows join WDAY Radio’s already established midday lineup, which includes Define The Fight with Mariah Prussia on Mondays and Talk of The Town with Jon Adams on Wednesdays, both airing from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.

In addition to the launch of these new programs, WDAY Radio is transforming its Midday news show into a one-hour news magazine format, which will feature the latest updates in news, weather, and sports. The show will be hosted by Ken Duffy, the station’s newly appointed News Director. Duffy, who joined FLAG Family Media last month from WBAL in Baltimore, brings extensive experience and a commitment to delivering top-quality news coverage for the region.
