An in depth education in the Broadcasting and Film degree program at the University of Central Missouri laid a professional foundation that helped Cooper Banks refine his natural ability early on. Cooper worked as an afternoon DJ at KWKJ in Warrensburg, MO in 2004, and was hired as News Director for KMXL/KDMO in Joplin, MO 2 years later. He made the jump to large market radio, taking a position with KMBZ in Kansas City as a Producer, Reporter, and News Anchor.
