Miami Radio: WAXY's Len Weiner To Also Program WQAM

Entercom has announced Len Weiner as the new Program Director for WQAM 560AM, Miami’s Sports Radio.

Len’s new role is in addition to his current programming responsibilities for Sports Talk WAXY 790 AM The Ticket in Miami.

“Len’s leadership ability and knowledge of sports radio make him the perfect candidate to take on our two major sport stations in Miami,” said Keriann Worley, Senior Vice President and Market Manager, Entercom South Florida. “Adding the 560 WQAM Program Director responsibilities to Len’s current role is a natural fit. I’m confident both stations will continue as the top choice for Miami’s sports fans with Len on board.”

Len Weiner has spent most of his career in Sports Radio. He served for almost twelve years as Program Director for the ESPN Radio Network and was the Program Director of various sports stations in Chicago, Boston and Los Angeles. Len is passionate about radio and sports, and also has experience in news and news/talk formats.
