iHeartMedia/Hartford announced today that David Fisch has been named morning show host for
WHCN The River 105.9, Variety of the 70s 80s and more, effective February 21. Fisch will broadcast on weekdays 5 – 10 AM.

“After a long national search to find the perfect host for The River morning show, he’s right here in Hartford,” said Dave Symonds, VP Programming for iHeartRadio. “Fisch has years of experience entertaining the Hartford audience and being completely engaged in the local community.”
“We’re excited to welcome Fisch to the iHeartMedia family,” said Steve Honeycomb, President of iHeartMedia’s Hartford Region. “His years of experience and knowledge of the market make him an outstanding talent that will be a perfect addition to mornings on The River 105.9.”
Fisch joins The River 105.9 from another radio group, where he most recently served as Assistant Program Director and morning co-host. He also served as the Producer for The Herd with Colin Cowherd on ESPN. He began his career at Q102 in Philadelphia and is a graduate of Villanova University.
