The Loop has a long tradition of Loop Rock Girls that serve as brand ambassador for Chicago’s Classic Rock station, making appearances to meet listeners at station events and concerts. The Loop Rock Girl is also featured on the famous Loop Rock Girl Calendar.

Rose, who hails from Chicago, was an original cast member on MTV2’s highest-rated show, “Guy Code” and its successful spinoff, “Girl Code”. She hosted MTV's infamous Spring Break Cancun 2014, and is an on-air contributor for VH1 music countdown shows. She also created, wrote and hosted Maxim Magazine’s weekly show, "Maximum Exposure", and currently hosts a successful web series, “#ARfiles” on Playboy.com. Rose made her movie debut in 2013 co-starring in Sony Pictures’ “Grown Ups 2”, and appeared on the Fox hit drama series “Empire”. She was recently cast as the female lead in the upcoming sequel to the Clint Eastwood film, “Any Which Way You Can”, which is currently in production.

A huge White Sox fan, Rose is featured on Live Fox Sports broadcasts and co-hosts a Chicago Bears pre-game show, “Chicago Huddle” on CSN. She was an Executive Producer and Host of Chicago’s Comcast SportsNet Network’s, “Chicago Face-Off with April Rose", featuring the Chicago Blackhawks the previous year.

WLUP Morning Host Mancow said: “Maxim Magazine got it right; she is both smart and beautiful! A great addition to our team.”

Rose said: “My career officially started when I became the Loop Rock Girl a few years ago. I went on to work for MTV, Fox Sports, Maxim Magazine and Playboy. I’m honored to be back home as Chicago's Loop Rock Girl again. No matter what I've done in my career, people in Chicago always remember me as The Loop Rock Girl. It's my home and I’m honored to be back.”
