CBS Radio's simulcast of News WBBM 780
AM and WCFS 105.9 FM maintained their #1 showing (6+ AQH Total Week)
in the July PPMs released Monday by Nielsen. The simulcast edged
upward 6.7—6.9 for the win. However, it must be noted the stations
split for White Sox MLB. (The News remain on FM).
Without the simulcast, iHeart Media's
UrbanAC WVAZ 102.7 FM V103 is the market leader despite losing share
6.5—5.8. Hubbard's HotAC WTMX 101.9 FM was steady at 5.0 for #2,
followed by WBBM-AM only 4.6—4.7 to place at #3.
CBS Radio's WJMK 104.3 FM had its best
showing ever. The year has been good for KHits. The station cracked
the Top 10 in March and now places at #4 nudging 4.0—4.1. Classic
Hits rival, WLS 94.7 FM has been trending downward since February
2015 when it was #7. The station is now in the # 12 slot.
