Milwaukee Radio: Brian Noonan Out At N/T WTMJ

Brian Noonan, a familiar voice at WTMJ 620 AM since 2015, has parted ways with the Good Karma Brands-owned station. Noonan, who most recently co-hosted the early afternoon program "Spanning the State," shared the news of his departure on Facebook last weekend.

In his March 30 post, Noonan wrote, "After my show on Friday, I was told I was being 'sun downed' at Newsradio 620 WTMJ, which simply put, means I was let go. It’s a harsh but common reality in the radio world. I’m still reeling and not entirely sure of all the reasons, but I’m thankful for the chance to have been part of this storied station in different roles for over ten years."

Prior to his time at WTMJ-AM, Noonan spent nearly 15 years as a radio personality at WGN-AM in Chicago.

For the time being, it appears Brey will take the reins of "Spanning the State" alone. The show, which was introduced as part of a major lineup overhaul at WTMJ-AM in February 2024, airs weekdays from 1 to 3 p.m.
