Scott Herman To Be Inducted into B+C Hall of Fame


Scott Herman, Chair of the Broadcasters Foundation of America and former COO of CBS Radio, will be inducted Into the Broadcasting+Cable Hall of Fame, Class of 2024, on Thursday, September 26 at the Ziegfeld Ballroom. Herman is the only radio executive to be inducted into the B+C Hall of Fame this year.  A portion of the net proceeds from the Hall of Fame gala is donated to The Broadcasters Foundation. The Paley Center for Media is also a beneficiary.

Among the 2024 Hall of Fame inductees are Broadcasters Foundation Board members Steve Lanzano, president and CEO, TVB, and Valari Dobson Staab, chairman, NBCUniversal Local, as well as former Board member George Stephanopoulos, co-anchor, Good Morning America, anchor, This Week with George Stephanopoulos, ABC News.

“I’m humbled to be in the company of some of the broadcast greats who have been inducted into the Hall of Fame, and I’m proud to represent radio in the Class of 2024.” said Herman.

The annual Broadcasting+Cable Hall of Fame pays tribute to the pioneers, innovators and stars of broadcast, cable, broadband and streaming television. Receiving the coveted Hall of Fame honor is more than the acknowledgement of a successful career – it’s entry into an exclusive community of honorees that have truly changed the paradigm of the industry.
