Columbia MO Radio: KFRU Launching New PM Drive Talk show

 has announced that it will launch a new weekday afternoon talk show, “Columbia Today,” on KFRU, Columbia’s pre-eminent News/Talk radio station. The live and local program will be hosted by Ted Farnen, journalist and former Missouri State Representative. “Columbia Today” will debut on Monday, July 17th, and can be heard on KFRU 1400 AM and 98.9 FM and via smart speakers Monday through Friday from 4:00pm to 6:00pm. The show will also be available on-demand at https://www.kfru.com/.

Farnen, who has been a frequent substitute host on KFRU’s morning programming, has lived and worked in Columbia and Boone County for more than 30 years. He is a graduate of the University of Missouri School of Journalism.
