CUMULUS MEDIA announces that it has tapped popular radio personality Mike Hsu as On-Air Host, Mornings, for Worcester, MA, Classic Rock radio station WWFX The Pike 100 FM.

Hsu debuts today as Host of The Pike Morning Show and can be heard weekdays from 6:00am-10:00am. Hsu joined The Pike part-time in August 2020, and was most recently heard on The Pike Monday through Friday from 6:00pm-8:00pm and 4:00pm-7:00pm on Saturdays.

A 30-year radio broadcasting veteran and Worcester native, Hsu joins The Pike full-time in Mornings after a successful career at Rock radio station WAAF-FM, where he was heard in Mornings, Afternoons and Middays during his two decades there. WAAF-FM was sold to EMF and took over its operations from previous owner Entercom on February 21, 2020, at Midnight, Hsu’s last day on WAAF airwaves. Hsu started his radio career in Richmond, VA, where he worked at WVGO and 106.5 The Buzz. He debuted on WAAF-AM in 1999 and has lived in Worcester for 22 years.

Bob Goodell, Regional Vice President/Market Manager, Cumulus Boston/Worcester/New London, said: “Pike Program Director Chuck Perks and I are both very excited to have Mike hosting The Pike’s morning show. He’s a part of the rock fabric of Central Massachusetts and one of the most well known personalities from his time served at WAAF.”

Hsu commented: “Worcester has a lot to offer and I’m glad I can let people know that and be more a part of the community by broadcasting on Worcester’s Rock Station.”
