Beaumont TX Radio: Don Brake To PD, Mornings At KAYD-FM

Cumulus Media announces that it has appointed 26-year radio broadcasting veteran Don Brake as Program Director and Morning On-Air Personality for its Beaumont, TX, Country radio station, KAYD-FM/NASH FM 101.7.

Brake debuts this week on NASH FM 101.7’s new morning show, “New NASH Morning Show”. The show will air weekdays from 6am-10am on NASH FM 101.7.

Brake joins Cumulus from WKKQ in Morgantown, WV, where he was Music Director and On-Air Personality, Middays. Prior to that, he was Program Director for WFRE in Frederick, MD, was Program Director for WHWK in Binghamton, NY, and served as Assistant Program Director/Music Director and Morning On-Air Personality for WCAT in Harrisburg, PA. Brake was also Operations Manager of Verstandig Broadcasting’s Hagerstown, MD/Chambersburg, PA, station cluster and served as Program Director of WAYZ.

Charlie Cook, Vice President, Country Formats, Cumulus Media, said: “I am so pleased that we got Don into Cumulus. I have known him for many years and I believe that he can bring an exciting, fun morning show to Beaumont.”
