Audacy unveiled a new weekday programming lineup for Radio Libre 790 (WAXY-AM) in Miami, highlighted by three new local shows built to entertain and inform South Floridians. The new lineup is effective immediately.
The station concurrently names Miguel ‘Mijo’ Irizarry as Brand Manager. In this role, Mijo will oversee the station’s content strategy, talent, operations and branding.

- “Despierta Miami” con Eli Escobar, 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. ET
- “Despierta Miami” features local news and national and global trends, including timeless music weaved in for the listeners of Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties.
- Escobar began her radio career with sister station Mega 101 (KLOL-FM) in her native Houston, TX in 2006, where she co-hosted the morning show until 2013. In 2015, she served as morning traffic anchor for the market, concurrently hosting middays on Mix 96.5 (KHMX-FM) until 2022.
- “En este Pais” con Lourdes Ubieta, 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. ET
- Market veteran Lourdes Ubieta returns to deliver a dynamic three-hour broadcast with insights on current affairs, diverse interviews and listener participation. Ubieta is a seasoned media professional recognized as one of the most influential conservative Hispanic female journalists in the U.S. Her career spans TV, radio and political marketing.
- “El Show de Jorge Bonilla,” 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. ET Jorge Bonilla delivers sharp political analysis that cuts through the noise of national and local issues and insights that resonate throughout the Hispanic community of South Florida.
