Next year’s popular keynote session, “The Artist Interview,” at Country Radio Seminar (CRS) will feature breakout star Lainey Wilson engaging in a Q&A with award-winning artist, Trisha Yearwood.
Departing from the norms of past keynote events, the year’s “Artist Interview” brings together Yearwood, a tw0-time CMA Female Vocalist of the Year, and Wilson, reigning CMA Female Vocalist and New Artist, for an exclusive artist-to-artist exchange.
CRB/CRS Executive Director RJ Curtis comments, “CRS 2024 is honored to welcome two generations of award-winning female vocalists: Trisha Yearwood, interviewing Lainey Wilson in a unique first-time format for our annual ’Artist Interview’ series. Lainey is one of the most exciting new superstars of our genre, with a distinctive style that connects with fans on every level.
Trisha brings a perspective only a legendary, successful, and highly decorated artist can. It will be a fascinating conversation at CRS in February!”
The session is sponsored by ASCAP, and its specific date and time will be announced at a later point.
CRS 2024 will be Feb. 28 to March 1, 2024. This event provides professionals in the radio and recording industries a platform to connect, learn, and thrive. Early bird registration opens on Aug. 29. New Faces of Country Music Showcase tickets are sold separately for $100 per ticket and are limited.
