Cumulus Media announces that it has promoted 18-year News/Talk
WVLK 590 AM on-air personality Dave "Kruser" Krusenklaus to Program Director.
Kruser will also move from Middays to host Afternoon Drive on WVLK-AM. Kruser, who has been on WVLK-AM as an on-air host since 1999, was previously a Program Director and Morning Host in both Rock and Classic Hits formats. Kruser takes the PD reins from Scott Johnson, who assumes a new role as News Director for WVLK-AM and the Cumulus Lexington cluster.
Scott Frazier, Vice President/Market Manager, Cumulus Media-Lexington, said: "I look forward to Kruser delivering the same powerful analysis and spirited attitude he has brought as an on-air personality to programming central Kentucky's heritage News Talker, 590 WVLK!"
