School administrators called Becca and Malone on the air last week to ask them to mention the event on air. After further discussion, Becca and Malone were invited to participate in the school's assembly yesterday.
As part of the effort, if 90% of the students wore pink yesterday, the principal and teachers promised to color their hair pink. As an added attraction, Malone even agreed to dye his hair pink!
The popular morning team also talked to the students about the effects of bullying. The pink hair dye was flowing by the end of the successful assembly, as the principal, teachers and Malone all made good on their promises to go pink!
