San Antonio Radio: David Chancellor Joins KZDC

Longtime WOAI-TV sports anchor David Chancellor is expanding his workload. Alpha Media officials said Chancellor will join Ari Temkin as co-host of KZDC 1250 AM / 94.5 FM ESPN San Antonio’s afternoon sports talk show, which will be rebranded The Hardline with Ari and Chance.

The retooled radio show will air Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on ESPN San
Antonio, according to the San Antonio Business-Journal.

Chancellor is a 20-year veteran of the television industry. He is also a native of San Antonio.
Chancellor has appeared on ESPN San Antonio in the past. Station manager Bob Brown said company officials recognized “that he’s a TV guy who really gets radio.”

KZDC 1250 AM (25K-D, 920 watts-N)

Temkin, who also serves as assistant program director for ESPN San Antonio, said Chancellor’s deep Alamo City roots will allow him to bring a “unique perspective” to the sports-centric radio station.
