Atlanta Radio: English Nick Gets Nights On WSRV

Cox Media Group (CMG) Atlanta Radio has named English Nick as its new weeknight host on Classic Hits WSRV 97.1 FM The River, beginning Monday, Jan.18.

Nick has been weekend and fill-in host on The River for four years and will now host nights Monday - Friday from 7 p.m. to midnight in addition to his weekend shifts.

“Nick is a terrifically talented guy with an awesome sound and great name in the market,” said Chris Eagan, Director of Branding and Programming for B98.5 and 97.1 The River. “River listeners love him, so we thought it’d be great to have him one very night!”

Prior to joining CMG in 2011, Nick worked at other Atlanta rock stations including WNNX, 99X and 96 Rock.

“There is only one place on the radio dial in Atlanta to go to for classic hits/rock and that's 97.1 The River,” added Nick. “I've shared my weekends with the River listeners for the past four years, and I can't wait to rock the nighttime shift too.”
