MD Radio: Dave Hovel Joins WICL As PD, Morning Host

West Virginia Radio Corporation/Williamsport MD has announced that Dave Hovel will be the new PD for its Country WICL 95.9 FM The Big Dawg.

He'll also handle morning drive.

Hovel most recently was most recently handling multiple duties on Country, Top 40, and Sports Talk formats for CBS Radio in Baltimore, where he'll continue handling a weekend shift for Top 40 WWMX MIX 106.5 FM.

Previously, he spent 24 years with Delmarva Country WXCY in Wilmington DE.

Meanwhile WICL current morning host Danielle will shift to voice tracking afternoon drive and continues to host a live midday show on AC sister station WLTF 97.5 FM.

WICL afternoon personality Rona shifts to the morning show on WLTF, teaming with Jeff Adams.
