Bobby Bones Wants Trump Donation For Trademark Rights

Bobby Bones
Nationally syndicated country music radio show host Bobby Estell, known on-air as Bobby Bones, recently purchased an available trademark for Donald Trump’s presidential campaign.

WKRN-TV Nashville report Bones filed for and received the trademark for the slogan “Make America Great Again” after discovering it was not trademarked for clothing, accessories and swimwear. Trump owns the trademark for other uses of the slogan.

After receiving the trademark, the WSIX-based personality tweeted to presidential hopeful Donald Trump that he would give him the trademark in exchange for a $100,000 donation to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, which specializes in treating children with cancer and other deadly diseases.

Another tweet from the same day said, “Hey @realDonaldTrump. I don’t even want this trademark. Let’s get this thing done. I want no money. Just for @StJude.”
