In a staff memo, iHeartRadio & iHeartMedia Networks President Darren Davis stated, "Brian will be charged with leading iHeartMedia’s effort to develop our full data-rich automated and programming platform and operations to support our national and local sales forces with state-of-the-art technology that will connect our advertising partners to our unique and rich data, making their marketing campaigns more effective and putting iHeartMedia in a leadership position in this new world of data usage.
Kaminsky will also oversee "the company's adoption of automation to help the sales process go smoother and faster, freeing sellers and operations folks from much of the current manual administrative process and giving them more time to spend with clients and solutions. In addition, Brian will continue to manage digital ad ops and add the same for our national broadcast as needed."
Davis also remarked, "We will lead, not follow, in data solutions, automated sales transactions, and eventually the use of programmatic as well."
