It’s CRS Week in
Country Radio Seminar has announced the lineups for the UMG
Nashville events at CRS 2013.
Wednesday’s “Team UMG at the Ryman” luncheon will feature
artists from the Universal Music Group roster.
Artists set to perform include Billy Currington, Brothers Osborne, Chris
Stapleton, Darius Rucker, David Nail, Dierks Bentley, Drake White, Eric Church,
Eric Paslay, Josh Turner, Kacey Musgraves, Kelleigh Bannen, Lady Antebellum,
Lauren Alaina, Little Big Town, Luke Bryan, Mickey Guyton, Randy Montana,
Scotty McCreery and Vince Gill.
“Team UMG at the Ryman” will be held at noon on Wednesday,
Feb. 27 inside the Ryman Auditorium. A
box lunch will be provided inside the Convention Center prior to the show.
On Thursday, Feb. 28, the Capitol and MCA Records Luncheon
will take place in the Convention Center’s Performance Hall. MCA’s Gary Allan will headline the show and
Capitol’s Jon Pardi is scheduled to open.
Gary Allan recently celebrated a No. 1 album and No. 1
single when his ninth studio album Set You Free topped the Billboard Top 200
and Billboard Country album charts the same week he earned his fifth No. 1
single with “Every Storm (Runs Out Of Rain).”
Capitol Record’s Little Big Town is also confirmed to kick
off the seminar with a performance of the national anthem at the opening
ceremonies on Wednesday, Feb. 27 at 10 a.m. The group will be accompanied by
the U.S. Marine color guard.

Highlights include: a keynote address from Emmis
Communications’ Jeff Smulyan and sessions on mobile music consumption trends,
social media, effective promotions and marketing.
Edison Research will present a video-based ethnographic
study about how people listen to country music, and there will be other
sessions on understanding listener demographics.
Cumulus Media CEO Lew Dickey will discuss country radio’s
comeback in New York City
will the launch of NASH.FM.
In addition, the conference is also host to the Artist and
Radio Humanitarian Awards and an introduction to the “New Faces of Country
Music.”
