NYC Radio: WFAN, NFL Giants Decide To Extend

The New York Giants and WFAN, an Audacy Sports station and the most-listened-to sports radio station in the United States, today announced an extension to their play-by-play partnership of all Giants games.

WFAN will continue as the flagship station of the team, airing all preseason, regular season, and postseason games on WFAN (101.9 FM / 66AM) and on the Audacy app. As part of the extension, the team will produce monthly Giants programming throughout the year and will continue its weekly preview show, “Big Blue Kickoff Live” presented by Cadillac, during the regular season.

To kick off the season, WFAN will host a day of programming from the Giants Training Camp at the Quest Diagnostics Training Center on July 31. The day will begin with “Boomer & Gio” at 6:00 a.m. ET and continue with “Evan & Tiki” at 2:00 p.m. ET. Each show will include interviews with players, coaches, and front office members.

“WFAN and The New York Giants are two of the most successful sports brands in the tri-state area, and we’re honored to continue this long-standing partnership for the fans of Big Blue,” said Chris Oliviero, Chief Business Officer and New York Market President, Audacy. “More programming, exclusive experiences and of course Tiki, will make the seasons ahead all the more special.”

Former Giants running back Tiki Barber, who has been a WFAN host since 2022 and recently named a “Top 100” Giant of all-time, will join Giants.com’s John Schmeelk as the new pre and postgame co-host for Giants gameday broadcasts. The Voice of the Giants, Bob Papa, alongside Carl Banks and Howard Cross, will continue their in-game responsibilities.

“I am really excited to be joining the Giants gameday radio broadcast team on WFAN. This organization has meant so much to me, professionally and personally,” said Barber. “The Giants have a long history of legendary broadcasters and Wellington Mara always told them to call it like they see it because our fans know better. I look forward to providing analysis and insight that Giants fans appreciate.”

📻Listeners can tune in to WFAN (101.9 FM / 66AM) in New York on air and nationwide on the Audacy app and website. Fans can also connect with the station via X, Facebook, and Instagram.
