Big Noon Kickoff, launched in 2019, focuses primarily on Big Ten and Big 12 games, with a strong emphasis on the noon ET window, which has been the most-watched college football window in three of the past four seasons. The show averaged 1.02 million viewers in 2023, with the 11 a.m. hour reaching 1.4 million. The addition of Portnoy aims to boost ratings and compete more directly with College GameDay’s star power. The show travels weekly to game sites, often tied to Fox’s broadcast, and has been criticized for prioritizing Fox games over the sport’s biggest matchups.

📺Both shows are set to kick off the 2025 season in Columbus, Ohio, for the Texas vs. Ohio State matchup on August 30, highlighting their focus on marquee games.
