Audacy’s KYW Newsradio (103.9 FM / 1060 AM) in Philadelphia awarded its annual GameChangers honors, recognizing people making a difference in communities of color around the Philadelphia region. This year’s honorees were recognized at a ceremony at Audacy’s Philadelphia office on February 28.
The 2024 KYW Newsradio GameChangers honorees are:
- Al Black: Changing the game by feeding the unhoused with care and compassion
- Carolyn Sims Nesmith: Changing the game by developing young creatives
- Dave Brown: Changing the game one player at a time
- Eric Jones: Changing the game by teaching the children and leading by example
- Eric Williams: Changing the game by empowering people with autism
- Hillary Do: Changing the game by empowering grassroots leaders
- Karen Falcon: Changing the game by inspiring young minds
- Lisa Robinson: Changing the game by offering true compassionate care
- Louis Massiah: Changing the game by documenting history and culture on film
- Reading Assist: Changing the game one proficient reader at a time

KYW Newsradio community impact reporter Racquel Williams, who has been highlighting the GameChangers honorees throughout February, hosted the ceremony. The 2024 recipients were nominated by audience members, selected by a panel of previous honorees and vetted by KYW Newsradio editorial staff.
