Audacy announced a new weekday programming lineup for News Talk WTIC 1080 AM in Hartford, effective June 21. The new revamped lineup will feature all-local programming from 5:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. ET.
As part of the changes, morning show co-host Brian Shactman will now also host “Extra Time with Brian,” weekdays from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. ET. The show will expand on leading local topics important to the people of Connecticut and beyond. The station subsequently welcomes New England media veteran Tom Shattuck as midday show host. “The Tom Shattuck Show” will be heard weekdays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. ET. “The Todd Feinburg Show” will now follow at 2:00 p.m. and continue to air until 6:00 p.m. ET.

Prior to joining Audacy, Tom Shattuck was the senior editor of The Lowell Sun newspaper in Lowell, MA. Before that, he served as the editorial page editor of The Boston Herald as well as the executive producer of Boston Herald Radio, a digital radio station. Shattuck arrived at The Boston Herald after a successful four-year stint at WTKK in Boston as executive producer of their afternoon drive show. He launched his radio career at WRKO in Boston as a web designer and content manager before moving into on-air programming and later executive producer.

- 5:00 a.m. – 5:30 a.m. “WTIC Sunrise Special”
- 5:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. “Mornings with Ray and Brian”
- 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. “Extra Time with Brian”
- 10:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m “The Tom Shattuck Show”
- 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. “The Todd Feinburg Show”
