Cumulus Media announces that San Francisco sports radio station KNBR will add radio and social media personality and actress Bonnie-Jill Laflin to the on-air team of the “Murph & Mac” morning show.
Laflin, a San Francisco native and former cheerleader for the Golden State Warriors and the San Francisco 49ers, will debut on KNBR 680 & KNBR 1050’s “Murph & Mac” on Monday, September 10th. She joins “Murph & Mac” co-hosts Brian Murphy and Paul McCaffrey as they entertain the Bay Area’s most passionate sports fans weekday mornings from 6am-10am.
Laflin brings a robust social media following to KNBR and the “Murph & Mac” morning show, and will also appear in station videos across knbr.com and its social media platforms, in addition to her role on-air. Laflin was formerly host of Sirius/XM’s “The Rush Hour” and “Fantasy Football Show”.
Jeremiah Crowe, Program Director, KNBR 680 & KNBR 1050, said: “We are thrilled to add the talented Bonnie-Jill Laflin to the KNBR lineup. A San Francisco native, she has maintained her passion for Bay Area sports and has a deep-rooted connection to the KNBR brand. Her experiences and relationships built in the front office, on the sidelines, behind the microphone and on camera will provide our core audience a rare perspective on their favorite local teams. Bonnie-Jill is an established personality that will connect with our listeners on a multitude of platforms and keep KNBR on the leading edge of content creation from day one.”
Laflin said: “Growing up in the Bay Area, my father and I would always tune in to the Giants on KNBR 680. While living in Dallas, and then in Los Angeles, I still listened daily so I could follow my teams. It's truly a dream come true to return home and cover the teams I love, in the 49ers, Giants and Warriors. I am honored and humbled to join this legendary media outlet and be a part of The Sports Leader!"
