CBS News Radio has signed new affiliation agreements with Entercom, Alpha, and Saga. With these new deals, CBS News Radio is now delivering content to more than 450 news, talk, and music stations.
The deal between Entercom and the news network, which remains under CBS Corp. ownership, will keep CBS News Radio programming on newly acquired Entercom stations where it has been heard for decades, including “NewsRadio 880” WCBS New York, “1070 NewsRadio” KNX Los Angeles, “NewsRadio 780” WBBM Chicago, “NewsRadio 1060” KYW Philadelphia, KCBS San Francisco (740) and news/talkers KRLD Dallas (1080) and KMOX St Louis (1120). The deal includes a co-producing arrangement with Entercom for a one-minute original update each weekday and a two-hour weekend original long-form program addressing veterans’ issues, both titled “Eye on Veterans.”

“These new agreements further solidify CBS News Radio as the leading provider of the best original news reporting and information,” said CBS News CFO Charles Pavlounis. “Our affiliate lineup is growing, and we have terrific new programming on the horizon.” The network says its reporting, information and entertainment content available to more than 450 news, talk and music stations in the U.S.
The affiliate agreements are the latest under CBS News Radio’s relationship with Skyview Networks for distribution, inventory management, and sales, which kicked off on Jan. 1, 2018. CBS News Radio also renewed key affiliation agreements with WBZ-Boston and KIRO-Seattle, two long-standing affiliates in the top 15 markets in the country.
