Music Labels Say Employees Are Safe

Sony Music Nashville and BBR Music Group, Nashville record companies that had multiple artists performing at Sunday's Route 91 Harvest Festival, reported that their artists, crew members and executives were not physically harmed in the mass shooting.

According to The Tennessean, the shooting, which left at least 50 dead and over 400 wounded, occurred during the festival's closing set by headliner Jason Aldean, who is signed to BBR Music Group.

Prior to Aldean taking the stage, Sony artists Luke Combs, Jason Owen and Kane Brown performed on Sunday.

"All Sony Music Nashville’s artists and their teams and our company staff who were at the Route 91 Harvest Festival are safe and not physically harmed," Sony Nashville spokesman Allen Brown said. "We all are sending out prayers of healing for the many who have suffered injury and loss."

In addition to Aldean, Nashville label Broken Bow Records had two other artists Walker McGuire and Adam Craig perform at the festival. Craig's set ended on Sunday evening as well.

“We are horrified by the events in Las Vegas overnight and relieved to report that all of our artists, their teams, and our staff are safe and uninjured," said Jon Loba, executive vice president at BBR Music Group. "The Country Music community is a FAMILY and our listeners are a part of that family. They put food on our tables and allow our artists and staff to live our dreams by going to events like last night.

"While our artists and staff are safe, our hearts are broken for those listeners in our extended family who just wanted to share a night of great music and the camaraderie that is the hallmark of Country Music."
