WIL 92.3 FM’s Bud and Broadway are very proud of the toy collection efforts of their listeners and station partners during the “5,000 Toys for Girls and Boys” charity toy drive.
The ONLY live and local new Country Morning Show in St. Louis collected more than 8,000 toys during this holiday community effort, which wrapped up with a marathon toy collection effort on December 9th and 10th at local St. Louis Walmart locations.
In a 36-hour time frame, Bud and Broadway’s Home Team collected 8,348 toys for families served by The Salvation Army in St. Louis!
Bud and Broadway expressed their appreciation for the St. Louis listeners who supported this effort, noting, “We knew that the people of ST. Louis would come through for us, and boy did they ever. It’s so awesome to watch a city come together like this for kids. One more reason why we love it here!”
92.3 WIL Program Director Scott Roddy comments, “This is just another example of Hubbard Broadcasting and WIL’s dedication to LOCAL talent making a measurable difference in OUR community.” Roddy adds, “I’m proud of Bud and Broadway’s leadership in helping those who need it most during the holidays: the kids. I just hope they thaw in time for their next show!”
The “5,000 Toys for Girls and Boys” charitable effort was supported by 92.3 WIL station partners Vinson Mortgage, Dillard’s and Two Men and a Truck.
