According to philly.com, Fanatic program director Matt Nahigian will meet with Black Lives Matter Pennsylvania organizer Asa Khalif on Friday at 10 a.m.
According to the story, Khalif hopes to push for the suspension of Pat Egan, the white 97.5 FM producer who created the station’s black “Dwayne From Swedesboro” character, as well as race sensitivity training for Egan and others involved. Prior to scheduling the meeting, Khalif reportedly wanted to “shut down the station” with protests.

The Fanatic utilized its “Dwayne From Swedesboro” character for more than a year as a regular persona on host Mike Missanelli’s show before the fake caller was exposed this week. (Click Here for story)
Missanelli has said that he was unaware that the caller was a made-up character, and indicated that Dwayne may have pushed "racial bounds." Egan called the use of the Dwayne character a “big inside joke” that Missanelli missed.
Following news that The Fanatic’s Dwayne had been outed as a fabrication, former 94.1 Sportsradio WIP host and ratings rival Josh Innes harshly criticized the situation on Twitter. Innes was fired from WIP on Wednesday.
