Radio imager Benztown announced Tuesday that Inc. magazine has named the company one of America’s Fastest-Growing Private Companies for the fourth consecutive year. Benztown increased sales 48% since the start of 2011, placing it firmly on this year’s list of 5,000 companies.
Benztown is one of only five media companies making the list for four years.
The Inc. 5000 is an exclusive annual ranking of the fastest-growing private companies in the United States, ranked according to percentage revenue growth rate over a three-year period. Companies must have generated at least $100,000 in revenue in 2012 and at least $2 million in 2015 to qualify for the listing. They must also be U.S. based, privately held, independent and for-profit. Companies such as Microsoft, Zappos, Intuit, Under Armour, Timberland, Jamba Juice, Zipcar, Clif Bar, Vizio, Oracle and many other well-known companies gained early exposure as members of the Inc. 5000.
Andreas Sannemann, Benztown Chief Executive Officer said: “It is an absolute honor to be represented on this extraordinary list for the fourth year running. It is incredible and clearly showcases that even in a challenging economic environment, thinking differently and delivering effective solutions with a dedication to creating the best possible product can drive success. Every day I am thankful to work with the best people out there! Big thanks to the team!”
Dave “Chachi” Denes, Benztown President said: “To make the list once is an achievement in and of itself, but to do it four times in a row is something only about one in 10 Inc. 5000 companies are able to do. This accomplishment would not be possible without our exceptional team and incredible clients. Andy and I are humbled and incredibly grateful for their support.”
