Atlanta Radio: Talker Shannon Burke Lands At WYAY 106.7 FM

Cumulus Media announces that it has signed Shannon Burke to host NewsRadio WYAY 106.7 FM’s new talk show, “The Shannon Burke Show”.

Burke was audience favorite in NewsRadio 106.7’s Casting Call, three weeks of on-air auditions for Atlanta’s newest talk radio personality, which gave listeners and talk radio talent across the U.S. a shot to host their own talk show on News Radio 106.7.

“The Shannon Burke Show” debuts this week and will air weekdays from 9AM-Noon EST.

Burke most recently hosted his own show on Tampa’s 102.5 “The Bone”, where prior to that, he was part of the on-air team on the nationally syndicated “Bubba The Love Sponge” show. Previously, Burke was on-air host at FM talk station Real Radio WTKS 104.1 FM in Orlando, after hosting a talk show on Orlando’s WFLF 540 AM WFLA. A Dallas native, Burke started his radio career at KJFK 98.8 FM in Austin.
