Cumulus Detroit has announced that Jessica Poxson will host the "Jess Show" weekdays on
WDRQ 93.1 NASH FM Detroit, from 10:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. The new show debuted Tuesday, in the time slot previously held by Lauren Crocker, who moves to the cast of The Blaine Fowler Morning Show on sister station, Hot AC 96.3 WDVD.
Previously, Poxson was heard locally as a part of America's Morning Show with Blair Garner. She has also been on-air at WJR and WDVD in Detroit.
Robby Bridges, Program Director for NASH FM 93.1 said: “I'm so proud to watch Lauren Crocker's star rise as she continues on her journey; at the same time, we could not be more excited to launch The Jess Show on NASH FM! Jess, much like Lauren was, is a diamond in the rough--a native to Michigan, she's full of fun and quick wit that has connected as the local anchor on America's Morning Show here in Detroit.
