Westwood One announced that it has hired two veteran sales executives in its Midwest office.
Zack Ficke joins the company as VP, Strategic Partnerships, and
Kelli Hurley comes on board as VP, National Partnerships and Digital Activation, Midwest. Both are based in Chicago and report to Doug Johnston, EVP, Midwest Sales. Ficke, Hurley and Johnston are reunited, having all recently crossed over from Premiere Networks.
“I am thrilled to be back together with these two very talented sales individuals,” said Johnston. “They will be instrumental as we build a customer-centric Midwest Region.”

Ficke spent the past seven years as a National Account Manager with Premiere Networks, where he developed custom marketing programs incorporating broadcast, streaming, display, event sponsorship, and activation assets for national advertisers. Prior to joining Premiere, he was a National Account Manager at SiriusXM. Before embarking on his media sales career, Ficke served in various sales and account management roles for Marriott's Vacation Club division and IT consulting firm, Apex Systems.
Hurley is a network radio veteran with more than 10 years’ experience under her belt. She started her career in Los Angeles, successfully managing clients and agencies for Premiere Networks, United Stations, and Westwood One. In 2011, Kelli transitioned from network radio to digital audio as a Director of Sales for TargetSpot. Most recently, Kelli worked at Premiere Networks as a National Account Manager, overseeing some of the biggest client and agency partnerships in the Midwest territory.
