Sean Brace |
Thursday, the next chips may have fallen to facilitate Gargano's return to the Philadelphia airwaves, according to philly.com.
Sean Brace, who had been co-hosting “The Jon and Sean Show” on The Fanatic weekdays from noon to 2 p.m. with Jon Marks, confirmed he's no longer with the station.
Started in Jan of 08 @975TheFanatic. Want to thank them for the opportunity. It's been a fun ride.

Brace started as an intern with the station back in 2006, working his way up from producer to on-air contributor to host. According to his Fanatic bio page, he “quickly established himself as an integral part of 97.5 The Fanatic and a burgeoning talent in Philadelphia sports radio."
The bio also notes Brace "is poised for a long career in Philadelphia sports radio," although now it would seem that future will have to occur at a different station.
John and Sean formed a very entertaining show, far better than the Mike and Ike Show on WIP. It was a breath of fresh air listening to 2 younger guys with lots to say. The new guy before them--Eton? is close to unlistenable if that's even a word. All he does to scream over his co-host and disagree with him 24/7. Missanelli is entertaining but mean spirited, kinda like Howard Eskin with a sense of humor. The new guy at WIP with Tony Bruno who is a legend in my eyes, is even more ridiculous than Eton. That guy is repulsive pure and simple. I don't believe Bruno will be able to put up with him for very long.
ReplyDeleteIt's about time they wised up and saw brace for the no-talent that he is. Good riddance!!!
ReplyDeleteSports talk is on life support here. Midday ratings have to be Blutarsky-like for both stations. Good move in taking Brace out. The Fanatic would have beaten WIP with 2 hrs of dead air instead of him and Marks.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely!
