For the 11th consecutive
month CCM+E's Urban AC WVAZ V103 is #1 showing an uptick 6.5 – 6.6,
followed by CBS Radio's WBBM 780 AM in the second slot moving 6.2 –
6.0. Meanwhile, Hubbard's Hot AC WTMX 101.9 FM The Mix remains at #3
5.2 – 4.7. CBS Radio's Country WUSN 99.5 FM US 99.5 improved its
ranking, up to #4 from 5 with an uptick 4.2 – 4.3 to tie CCM+E Top
40 WKSC 103.5 FM KISS, which improved 4.0 – 4.3.
The October results place WTMX #1 for
the 11th consecutive month.
The turnaround at Tribune Co.'s iconic
news/talk WGN 720 AM looks to be a slow process. Results for the
November book show WGN 720 AM notching a 1.9 share in the key
25-54-year-old adult demo, putting the station in a tie for 23rd
place in the demo with alternative rock WKQX-101.1 FM. WGN-AM's
November share is 0.1 of a share point higher than the station pulled
in October. WGN dipped overall 6+ . WGN-AM slipped to a 3.9 share,
compared to a 4.0 in the October book.
