Omaha Radio: Keely Byars New GM For NRG Media Cluster

Keely Byars has been named General Manager of NRG Media Omaha's seven-station group, including rhythmic CHR “Power 106.9” KOPW, hot AC “Sweet 98.5” KQKQ, adult hits “101.9 The Keg” KOOO, Spanish regional Mexican “La Nueva 99.5 y 1020” KMMQ and translator K258DC, “News Talk 1290” KOIL, and sports stations KZOT (1180) and “1620 The Zone” KOZN.

Byars has held top leadership positions with Lee Enterprises and Berkshire Hathaway Media, including being a Group Publisher in Charlottesville, VA, and the VP of Sales at the Omaha World-Herald.
