NBC Sports Radio To Cover NHL Stanley Cup

Raise your sticks! In conjunction with NBC Sports and NBC Sports Radio, Westwood One will present live play-by-play audio coverage of the NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs, starting with first round action this Wednesday, April 11, when the LA Kings take on the Vegas Golden Knights in Game 1 of their Western Conference series. In addition, Westwood One will broadcast several Playoff games throughout the next few weeks, including Game 3 between the Anaheim Ducks and San Jose Sharks on Monday, April 16 and Game 4 between the Nashville Predators and the Colorado Avalanche on Wednesday, April 18.

Other playoff games in the first two rounds will be announced at a later date. Coverage will continue with the audio broadcast of every game of both Conference Finals as well as the Stanley Cup Final.

Kenny Albert (play-by-play) and Joe Micheletti (analyst) will serve as Westwood One/NBC Sports Radio’s lead broadcast crew and will call the 2018 Stanley Cup Final and select playoff games.

NHL programming will be available on NBC Sports Radio affiliates throughout the United States, as well as on NBCSportsRadio.com, NBCSports.com, the NBC Sports Radio mobile app, SiriusXM, (213/Sirius and 202/XM), TuneIn and the free TuneIn mobile app. NHL fans can also follow the playoffs on the NBC Sports Radio station on Apple Music.
