Orlando Radio: Star 94.5 Adds Steve Harvey Morning Show

Cox Media Group/Orlando has announced the addition of the Steve Harvey Morning Show to its line-up on WCFB 94.5 FM Star, effective today. The station is Harvey's 75th radio affiliate.

Harvey replaces the Tom Joyner Morning Show and is now heard on more than 70 radio stations by approximately 5.9 million weekly listeners, according to syndicator Premier Radio Networks.

The Steve Harvey Morning Show combines heart, humor and music along with celebrities from the worlds of sports and entertainment. Harvey is joined on the show by Shirley Strawberry, Carla Ferrell, his "Nephew Tommy," Sheryl Underwood and Junior.

The Steve Harvey Morning Show encourages listener involvement through segments of the show including Tommy's Prank Phone Calls, The Strawberry Letter, The New Star Project, and What's Bothering Sheryl. During Tommy's Prank Phone Calls, "Nephew Tommy" calls unsuspecting listeners and creates scenarios that result in hilarious reactions. The Strawberry Letter features listener questions about relationships, which are read on-air daily by Shirley Strawberry and answered candidly by Harvey. Each week, listeners are given the opportunity to show off their singing talents during The New Star Project. Sheryl rants about a variety of annoying topics that listeners submit for discussion on What's Bothering Sheryl.

"We are thrilled to have The Steve Harvey Morning Show join STAR 94.5," shared WCFB-FM Program Director Michael Saunders. "Listeners are excited and our clients are eager for his return to the Orlando market. We're looking forward to an incredible partnership in 2015 and beyond."
