KCAL 96.7 FM in Redlands, CA was knocked off the air for parts of three days when the winter storm downed its tower, was transmitting rock music again Friday night.
Program director and longtime afternoon host Daryl Norsell told The Press-Enterprise that the station’s signal is expected to be back at full strength on Monday.
KCAL connected its transmission dishes to country music station KFRG’s tower to get back on the air until its tower is replaced. KCAL was off the air early Dec. 31 through Friday evening.
