Dan Gosselin |
The move becomes effective Monday, September 29.
Gosselin will report to Paula Newell, Vice President of Programming for San Antonio.
Gosselin will join the San Antonio cluster from Clear Channel in New Orleans, where he served as the Operations Manager for KVDU, WNOE, WODT, WQUE, WRNO, WRNO-HD, WYLD and WYLD-AM.
“There are very rare times in our careers when the perfect opportunity becomes available at the perfect time,” said Gosselin. “KJ 97 is a legendary station, currently nominated for two CMA awards, in one of the strongest Country markets in the US. Between that and K-BUC’s legacy, I look forward to leading these two brands to even greater success.”
“We are excited to have Don join our award-winning team at KJ 97 and K-BUC,” said Marlene Trevino, President and Market Manager of Clear Channel Media and Entertainment San Antonio.
“His experience and passion for country music will be a great addition as we continue to provide the best entertainment possible for our listeners.”
Gosselin replaces Travis Moon, who left at the end of April to join St. Jude Children's Research Hospital's Radio Development department as Sr./Liason/Programming
