R.I.P.: Hartford Radio Personality Kevin Cleary

Kevin Cleary, known on Hartford radio at The Part-time Guy on WCCC 106.9 and before that as KTAG (Kevin The Afternoon Guy) on WMRQ 104.1 Waterbury died Friday at his home in Bristol, CT.

He was 44.

He was born in Rochester, NY. Kevin attended schools in Manchester and Coventry and graduated from Coventry High School.

Fascinated by radio since his youth, Kevin went on to graduate from the Connecticut School of Broadcasting while working part time as a D.J. at a local station.

He also worked private clubs as a D.J. and recently was a part time instructor at the Broadcasting School.

He loved playing his guitar and keeping with his close friends.

    Met him once. He was very polite. Good talent. Radio's changed, not what it used to be.
