YouTubeTV Plans to Launch Slimmer Viewing Bundles

YouTube TV will launch more than 10 cheaper, genre-specific subscription plans in early 2026, with a major new Sports Plan that includes ESPN Unlimited and Fox Sports 1 among its core channels, the company announced December 10, 2025.

The upcoming Sports Plan will deliver national sports coverage at a lower price than the current $83/month base package, featuring ABC, CBS, Fox, NBC (with locals), the full ESPN suite, FS1, TNT, TBS, USA, and seamless integration of ESPN’s direct-to-consumer “ESPN Unlimited” hub inside the YouTube TV app.

Exact pricing remains unannounced but is expected to land well below the full bundle.

In addition to the Sports Plan, YouTube TV confirmed over 10 targeted packages focused on genres such as news, family/kids, entertainment, and lifestyle. Subscribers will be able to mix and match these slimmer tiers or combine them (e.g., Sports + News) for customized bundles that exclude unwanted channels.

The move follows fresh carriage renewals with Disney, Fox, and NBCUniversal, enabling YouTube TV to unbundle content that was previously only available in the all-in-one base plan. All plans will retain YouTube TV hallmarks: unlimited DVR, multiview, and the ability to add premium options like NFL Sunday Ticket.

Rollout begins in early 2026, with full pricing and channel lineups to be revealed closer to launch. Even current base-plan subscribers will gain free access to ESPN Unlimited by the end of 2026.
