It's SNL50: Anniversary Week

Get ready to laugh your socks off because the "SNL50: Anniversary Special" just got an injection of pure comedy gold! Eddie Murphy, Adam Sandler, and Will Ferrell have RSVP'd "yes" to what's shaping up to be the biggest TV event since... well, since the last time "SNL" did something huge!

On Monday, NBC announced that these three legends of laughter will be joined by a parade of other "SNL" alumni including Amy Poehler, Andy Samberg, Chevy Chase (yes, he still knows where the studio is!), Chris Rock, Fred Armisen, Garrett Morris, Jane Curtin, Jason Sudeikis, Jimmy Fallon (he might host the after-party too), Kate McKinnon, Kenan Thompson, Kristen Wiig, Laraine Newman, Maya Rudolph, Molly Shannon, Pete Davidson, Seth Meyers, Tina Fey, Tracy Morgan, and Will Forte.

But wait, there's more! The already star-studded lineup includes Adam Driver, Ayo Edebiri, Bad Bunny, Dave Chappelle, John Mulaney, Kim Kardashian (because why not?), Martin Short, Miley Cyrus, Paul McCartney, Paul Simon, Pedro Pascal, Peyton Manning (who will hopefully not throw any sketches), Quinta Brunson, Robert De Niro, Sabrina Carpenter, Scarlett Johansson, Steve Martin, Tom Hanks, and Woody Harrelson. More names might be coming, but let's be honest, they're probably waiting to see if they can top this list.

Every single one of these celebs has graced the "SNL" stage, either hosting or rocking out as a musical guest. Steve Martin and Tom Hanks are in their own league, having hosted 16 and 10 times respectively. And let's not forget the Five-Timers Club members: John Mulaney, Scarlett Johansson, Dave Chappelle, Martin Short, and Woody Harrelson (though Mulaney and Johansson are actually six-timers... overachievers!).

Mark your calendars because this three-hour comedy extravaganza will light up your screens on Feb. 16 at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT, simulcast on NBC and Peacock.

And before the big show, get your eardrums ready for "SNL50: The Homecoming Concert" on Feb. 14, live from Radio City Music Hall. Hosted by Jimmy Fallon and executive produced by Lorne Michaels and Mark Ronson, this concert will feature performances by Arcade Fire, Backstreet Boys, Bad Bunny, Bonnie Raitt, Brandi Carlile, Brittany Howard, Chris Martin, David Byrne, DEVO, Eddie Vedder, Jack White, Jelly Roll, Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus, Mumford & Sons, Post Malone, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Robyn, The B-52s, and The Roots. More artists might join, but they better bring their A-game to match this lineup.
