Friday's global tech outage, caused by a faulty software update from CrowdStrike for Microsoft Windows operating systems, has indeed had widespread effects.
Nielsen has confirmed that their systems are now fully operational. CrowdStrike’s CEO mentioned that a fix has been deployed, and Microsoft stated that the underlying cause has been addressed.
Nielsen issued a statement informing you that it was impacted.
"We have been working through the night to assess and address the impact to our servers and are prioritizing the restoration of client production servers.
We have recovered a majority of the impacted servers and will provide an update on the scope of the impact and timeline for resolution as soon as possible."
